From Las Vegas, we hit the road and made our way into the Valley of Fire State Park which was just an hour or so away. Most people would say that it’s a bad idea to do this during the summertime but I thought it was great due to the lack of crowds.
They call it the Valley of Fire because it’s as if everything in this area is on fire. It’s quite amazing actually because as soon as you step into the park the whole landscape turns into hues of reds and oranges.
